We keep things simple and pure at Shawna Shenette Photography....some headbands and wraps, maybe a hat, a basket, or a fluffy blanket. The most important thing in your newborn photos is your new baby, of course!

What Type Of Newborn Photography Session Should I Choose?

Studio Session: Our studio, located in Millbury, MA, has tons of gorgeous natural light that helps give our photos that soft and gentle look for which we've become known in the industry. We also work with studio lighting to create some more dramatic effects. Our studio is kept comfy and warm, and there's plenty of room for you to sit back and relax after those first long nights of parenthood. We will work with you during your pre-session consultation to decide the perfect colors, materials, and any props to create several pieces of heirloom quality artwork.

Lifestyle Session: For our lifestyle newborn sessions, we come to your home and photograph your newborn baby in their own environment. We focus more on your interactions with them as they become accustomed to you and their big, new beautiful world.

When Should I Schedule My Newborn Session?

Your newborn photo session should take place during the first month of your baby's life, but it's never too soon to book your session with us. Please give us a call to discuss if your baby is older than one month.

Who Should Be In the Photos?

In addition to that cute little one, we always urge you to have photos taken with your new baby. They are only this little for such a short time, and capturing that emotion during those first few days is just amazing. We know you may be feeling a little tired, but it's something you'll never regret...and we always make sure you're looking your best! You can also include siblings and even pets, if you like!
