This beautiful baby boy is named Wesley; however, this little guy is not so little anymore, seeing as his newborn photo session was last fall. He's the youngest son of one of my daughter's dancing teachers, and I'm lucky enough to get to see him grow into the chunky, adorable boy that he is today. You should see his gorgeous eyes now! As a Worcester MA newborn photographer, this newborn session wouldn't have been complete without a few family photos and some solo images of big brother Paxton, who I photographed when he was still in his mommy's belly.
This is why I love newborn photography. It captures all of those little details, those fleeting moments, that are gone once the baby is just under a month old. While they seem to be newborns to the parents for much longer than that, as a newborn photographer, it's important that they are photographed within those first 2-3 weeks to truly capture their newness...those pouty lips, barely-there fingernails, and teeny tiny toes.
It took a little bit of time to get Wesley to settle down and fall asleep, but it was totally worth it! Plus, I can't pass up snuggling a newborn baby.
