Fashion Friday | High School Senior Style
I LOVE Senior Photos! Well, I don't really love my own because, let's face it, graduating from high school in the early 90's (YIKES!) definitely had me hanging onto some of the not-so-flattering 80's fashion statements, if you want to call them that. Think BIG hair, shirts with big blocks of color that don't coordinate, awful prints, mirrors, and any other tacky thing you can think of all combined into one single photo. Horrible. What I love about today's Senior High School photos is that there are so many different clothing options from which to choose and mixing styles from the past 5 decades is really cool. Plus, all of the past generations like myself, have done all of the dirty work for you and weeded out what looks truly awful in photos.
With all of the options, it can get a bit crazy and confusing, though, right? Well, I'm here to help!
First, let's decide if you want to be:
- Totally glamorous and look like you stepped right off a page from Vogue Magazine
- Relaxed and carefree in a natural, outdoor session
- Simply YOU!
This week, we'll discuss number 1.
If you want to glam it up, we will create a super-styled session for you. Something fun and editorial with tons of personality. It can be indoors our outside, and it can be as over-the-top as you like. Think of those editorial spreads in fashion magazines that have a theme, and picture yourself in one of them! Think of something that you love, and let's take it to the extremes. The possibilities for this type of session are endless!
Love the simple elegance of the 1950's?
A picnic in the park?
Love Alice in Wonderland? Let's set up your own Mad Tea Party!
Just a little bit rock n' roll...
Are you a Prima Ballerina?
Grab your guitar and sing me a song!
Schoolgirl style
Grab a bite at a local diner?
These styled senior sessions are so much fun, and there are so many different things we can do! The above is just a small sampling of ideas. I'd love to get to know YOU and help create a one-of-a-kind session.
Contact me with some of your ideas; I'd love to help you create the Senior Photos that you will love for many years to come!
