Elissa is graduating from Bancroft School in Worcester in just a few short weeks. We had SO MUCH FUN during her session, and I think the photos prove just that. She brought lots of outfits, from casual to dressy, to showcase her fun and laid back personality. Check out these AMAZING photos from her session with me!
Meet Taylor! Such a fun and gorgeous Class of 2015 High School Senior! We took her senior portraits last summer in the most gorgeous afternoon light. So perfect!
PS...I am now booking Class of 2015 and Class of 2016 Senior Portrait Sessions. Contact me for more details!
Just a couple of quick sneak peeks from Elissa's ahhhhmazing Senior Portrait Session. I can't wait to share the rest of this photo session with you guys, but until Elissa's seen the rest of her pictures, this is it for now. Sorry! I promise, the rest of her gallery is just as fabulous!
I am so happy that the 2015 High School Senior Portrait season is in full swing! I love all of my portrait sessions that I do (otherwise, why would I be a Portrait Photographer?), but for some reason the Senior Photo sessions are some of my favorites. It could be that most of them take place during the summer months in the early evening, and that's both my favorite time of year and time of day combined. I'm pretty sure that has something to do with it! Other than that, I think I just love how unique each of the Seniors that I get to photograph truly is. I love hearing about their future plans, seeing which outfits they've put together for their session, and seeing how excited they are about their last year of high school. Plus, they love to have fun and laugh...or they're just laughing at me being goofy and demonstrating the poses, which is probably more along the lines of the truth than anything. First up is Megan! Megan is a High School Senior at Worcester Academy. She has been a figure skater for many years, and she also plays the piano. This lucky girl loves to travel with her family, too. She is excited for the next big step after her final year of high school. I love that she sees that photos tell a story and that when people see photos of her, they will get a glimpse of her journey and story. Love that!
I swear, all of my 2014 High School Seniors are just gorgeous! Jillian is beautiful and kind and caring, and I really enjoyed getting to know her better while Mackenzie and I were doing her hair and makeup. It's the perfect time to chat, and it really helps in so many ways; you get to relax a bit prior to your photo shoot, and I get to plan your photo session a little better based on your personality and your answers to my many questions. Yes, we always chat and plan prior to the session, but there's something about that one-on-one/in-person conversation that really helps solidify the shoot. Jillian also plays the guitar, which you know I absolutely love! She loves country music and field hockey, and she can't wait to enjoy her last summer before heading off to college.
Sam is super smart, creative, and just pretty cool all around (I asked her to play a song for me on the guitar, and she starts playing Jewel...pretty much my favorite, ever!!!) . She's a quiet young lady, but don't let that fool you! Once her hair and makeup were done, she was a super model in front of the camera! She will graduate this spring with her 2014 class at St. Peter Marian High School in Worcester, MA, but she's already been taking classes at WPI for the past year. Told ya...super smart! And talented. And beautiful. :)
I LOVE my Seniors! I LOVE albums! And I absolutely LOVE when my Seniors choose to remember their high school days by purchasing one of my collections that includes an album. The albums that I offer are covered in a high quality leather available in many different colors. So, you can choose a luxurious black or brown, or you can choose your school's color! All you need to do is choose your favorite photos, and I will create an album of collages and full portraits that you will absolutely love!
The albums come in a gorgeous fabric-covered box for storage. The superb craftsmanship of the binding is incredible, and the pages are extra thick. These albums are just stunning! And when you pair the album with one of my favorite products, The Image Box, you will have a complete Senior Portfolio that you will love to look at for years to come!
Take a peek!
Wow, lots of blogging going on this week! Actually, it's really a good thing because there's so much I've wanted to share with all of you. I have sessions upon sessions to blog, but I also want to show you some of the amazing photo products that I offer. First up are my Custom Image Boxes. I love these! They are such a great alternative to albums because they're so versatile. You can leave it on a coffee table for guests to look through when they visit, and because it opens like a book, it would look perfect on your bookshelf, too!
Another great feature of my Custom Image Boxes is that the prints are loose, so you can frame some of your current favorites, but you can very easily switch them out from time to time.
Did I mention the personalized cover? You can choose your favorite photo from your session or even a collage of multiple photos. I have lots of different templates from which you can choose, so these work well for Newborns, Seniors, Families, Weddings, etc. They can hold up to 250 prints, too! See, totally versatile!
Be sure to check out my Custom Image Box samples, as well as other product samples, the next time you visit me at the studio!
I love entering contests with my photos; not only does it help me grow as a photographer, but I love seeing the talent of all of the other entries. This entry is for the Photography Idol contest over on Chic Critique Forum. I hope I make the first cut of this multi-level contest! Eeek! Here is the photo that I chose to enter:
Mikayla is one of my 2014 Senior Reps, and she is super-fun, gorgeous, and just like the girl-next-door! She attends St. Peter Marian High School in Worcester, MA. We took these photos early in the summer at my studio in Millbury, and I swear it was the hottest day of the year. Since I was just moving into the studio at the time, the air conditioner wasn't working, so it was at least 100 degrees in there while she was having her makeup done. She was a trooper, though, and her photos came out fabulous!
Stay tuned for the second half of her Senior Portraits that we plan to take in a couple of weeks (all of my Senior Reps get TWO photo sessions!).**Interested in being a 2015 Senior Rep for Shawna Shenette Photography? Fill out the form on my Facebook Page!**
