Photos Proving I'm Really A Mom...Where The Heck Are They?

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there!!! For today's post I wanted to show you some photos of me being a mom, my most important job...my most favorite job. I have thousands and thousands of photos of my almost-six-year-old little girl (6? SIX? SIIIIIIXXX? How the heck did that happen?); this child will never wonder what she looked like at a certain age, that's for sure, but as someone who is always behind the camera, it was very difficult to find *good* photos of us together. By good, I mean good lighting, eye contact, emotion...you know, all the things YOU look for in your photos that I take of you. I really don't have any. And that's partly my fault, too. I have lots of friends who are photographers who could take photos of me, but I always have the excuse that my hair needs updating, I have nothing to wear, or the dreaded: I need to lose ten more pounds.

My awesome husband bought me an iPad for Mother's Day, and I can't wait to use it for my photography biz and for "wasting" more time staring at a screen, but I just decided that I am giving myself a Mother's Day Present as well: PHOTOS OF ME AND MY DAUGHTER! I'm not waiting for the moment when everything is perfect because that moment never comes, I'm doing it now. This month! There...now you can hold me to it! I urge all of you moms to do the same. Whether it's having your photos taken by me (which, of course I would love to do!!!) or by someone else. These moments are too precious. Time goes by too fast. And in the blink of an eye, another year has gone by. Just do it....for you and for your children.

And now, onto a couple of photos of me and my little girl...all of when she was a baby and even more of a reason I need to have updated photos taken NOW!
